In scriptures it is mentioned that humans are karma yogis, meaning driven by their actions. Every good deed of theirs is rewarded and every bad deed is punished. Charity or Daan is regarded as a pious and good deed which has many benefits. It is believed that one surely receives rewards or fruits of one’s generosity in this or the next life. In Vedic texts there is mention of various types of daan, how daan should be done, what should be avoided while doing daan and dakshina. Out of all daans Doodh Daan or milk donation is considered as a very pious act in Dharma.

Doodh Daan is glorified as Mahadaan. Doodh Daan is believed to attract positivity and prosperity. It also helps one wash away their sins and negative karma. In Vedic astrology, Doodh Daan or milk donation is done to pacify Planet Moon and also Planet Jupiter. Doodh Daan should not be done after sunset. During Doodh Daan, a team from Rudra Centre Puja Services will deliver the required amount of milk to orphanages or an old-age homes for their usage.

Doodh Daan Puja Procedure | Doodh Daan Puja Vidhi

Rudra Centre Puja Services Priest will study the Kundli of the Yajman and shortlist an auspicious date to undertake the daan. On the day of the Daan, Sankalpa is taken by Punditji on behalf of the Yajman. Rudra Centre team will go to the identified beneficiary and perform the Daan service and send pictures and videos to the Yajman.
